Welcome to the website of Church Leadership Coaching & Consulting (CLC&C). I am John Wilkerson, its founder and director. My associates and I have extensive backgrounds in helping church leaders, both clergy and lay, excel in their practice of ministry, and in assisting congregations and regional governing bodies plan effectively for future mission, growth and development  (see About Us).

Metaphorically, leaders in today's church find themselves in the midst of a constant, sometimes overpowering waterfall of unsettling change, while laboring under the burden of unrealistic expectations to restore order and maintain balance. Through coaching, consulting, and education, CLC&C encourages church leaders to recognize change as a sign of vitality and a challenging opportunity to explore what God is calling them and the people they serve to be doing in today's world. They are encouraged to see the promise of a greater vision, as depicted by the rainbow of hope, and to help themselves and the people they serve to actualize it.

We offer a personal, individualized approach, because we believe that individuals and groups are unique. One of us will discuss with you initially, at no charge, what your, or your group's, particular need is. When that has been determined, our service will be specifically tailored to address it.
